October 4th :National Poetry Day Poetry books from Lion Hudson Plc, including books by Stewart Henderson (poet, songwriter and broadcaster) Steve Turner (described by The Sunday Telegraph as "One of the most original and child-friendly voices to emerge in the last few years") and Coral Rumble, whose book 'Breaking the Rules' includes shape poems, picture poems, haiku and many poems that break the rules of conventional layouts. The 2007 Divine Poetry Competition
Where would we be without chocolate? This year leading Fairtrade
company Divine Chocolate Ltd, and partner Christian Aid, are inviting budding
poets to describe the contrast between the world of chocolate lovers and of
cocoa growers in verse - and enter the hugely popular nationwide competition, to
win Divine prizes. The deadline for entries is Thursday 20th December 2007. For
