Easter resources available from THE TRIANGLE
include:
Jesus - The Last Week by Mike Anderson and Paul Heesome. A picture is
built of Jesus' last week by adding a poster to the wall each day. The
assemblies look at how Jesus acted or was treated by others, with a daily prayer
and 'thought for the day'. Whichever way the materials are used, the
participants will have the opportunity to reflect on and experience more
powerfully the wonderful season of Easter.
Picturing Easter (£26) Eight works of art reproduced on tear-proof cards
for handing around and on a CD-ROM for projection - telling the Easter
narrative. Each card is backed with comments, questions, biblical references and
suggestions for responding as an individual or a group to the artwork. There is
a also a 24-page facilitator's guide with further suggestions for learning
strategies and background material, written by Lat Blaylock and Victoria
Ikwuemesi.
What the Churches Say on moral and social issues. Revised and expanded
third edition (£12)A 104-page booklet produced by nine major churches to answer
questions about why the churches pronounce on moral and social issues, how they
arrive at views on such issues and what they have actually said in fourteen
broad areas: Relationships and Family; The Beginning of Life; Gender;
Homosexuality; Substance Abuse; The End of Life; Prejudice and Discrimination;
Law and Order; Work; Money Matters; Animal Welfare; Bioengineering; Environment
and World Development; Peace and War. Absolutely indispensable for anyone
